Job Description
Position: Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
Location: Kerrville, TX 78028
Schedule: 8 hours/day
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide rehabilitative services to residents with mental, physical, psychosocial, and/or developmental impairments under the direction/supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
- Maintain expected productivity/efficiency as set by the Director of Rehab or Administrator.
- Monitor therapy services to ensure they are performed correctly and provide encouragement when necessary.
- Maintain patient physical therapy records by recording resident’s progress and daily notes.
- Generate revenue by recording billing information for services rendered.
- Ensure a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following facility policies and procedures.
- Keep therapy equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance, and calling for repairs.
- Adhere to professional standards, policies and procedures, and federal, state, and local requirements to serve and protect the physical therapy practice.
- Enhance the physical therapy practice's reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- Current Texas licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant required.

- Ability to Commute/Relocate: Candidates must reliably commute or plan to relocate to Kerrville, TX.
- License/Certification: Physical Therapy Assistant License (Required)
